FESTOMATO 2024 at Fairgrown Farm

Back for the 6th year, FesTomato! is an annual event hosted by the Northeast Organic Farming Association of New Jersey to highlight and promote NJ’s favorite summer vegetable (or fruit?) and the amazing farms and farmers that grow them. FesTomato! events are fun for the whole family, with tomato tastings, farm tours, culinary demonstrations, live music, local vendors, and more. Activities will include:

• NOFA NJ All day tomato tasting (30+ Varieties!) Sourced from local NJ farms, sample varieties of cherry, plum, heirloom, and classic red Jersey tomatoes to find your favorite!

• Farm Tour at 12:30pm Led by farmer James, walk the fields, see the crops, and learn about Fairgrown's work with food security organizations. 

• Vendor Marketplace Connect with community partners, food businesses, and local organizations making a difference in food, agriculture, and the surrounding community.

• Local Food & Beverage Enjoy freshly made pizza from Nomad Pizza, as well as refreshing beverages from local vendors. 

• Live Music Find a seat and listen to singer-songwriter Caryn Dixon from 1:30-4pm.
