Walking on Sunshine

This past Saturday, I had the joy of "Sitting in Sunshine" (and I felt every single ray!) at Greater Faith Worship Center's Unity in the Community event. Outdoors On Purpose (OOP) was invited to share our mission and vision with the community, and the response was truly inspiring. Many were eager to learn about their environment, the importance of agriculture, growing food, and the significance of conservation and preservation.

While we love spreading the word about OOP, we also understand that true engagement comes from listening. Building meaningful relationships and partnerships is essential to moving our mission forward. I had some incredible conversations with folks who stopped by (special shoutout to Vince and Amy!) to chat and share an apple or peach with me. It was heartwarming to see kids gravitating toward the fresh fruit, with one young girl excitedly telling her mom, "Mommy, look! They have fresh apples!"

A big thank you to the Greater Faith Worship Center for inviting Outdoors On Purpose to be part of this wonderful celebration of unity in the community!
